Up Comming Events

Hi Again

Alright Guys my life has decided it is going to go nuts much like my self, I have quit my job as a computer tech and gone to work that the Meat works (abater) this is simply as i am planing to move out a need a bucket of money a week,

on the tech side of things,

I have juts placed an order with Dell, For a 22" Widescreen Monitor, See Link Below, It looks smashing and as my current 19" Chimei just isn't big enough to suit what i like to do (mainly photo shop and gaming) i wanted to go to a bigger screen was thinking about getting the 24", See Link Below, But the extra $400 or so dollars for it didn't meld well in my brain although they are great monitors, I Chose the Dell 22" other the other probably cheaper brands as i have worked with Dell before and know how there warranty systems work and also know that id much rather a 3 year warranty then a 1 year, i will do a review for it once i get it and put it trough its paces,

To say good bye to my old 19" LCD i have decided to review my experience with it. So here i go:

The Chimei 19" WS Monitor is a great little monitor wieghing only 4.5kg and bosting a great resultion and refresh rate for a nice price, is probly i would have to say one of the best monitors i have ever used and frankly i'm kind of sad to see it go i have sold it to my younger brother as he still has a crt and would like some extra desk space back,

this monitor is quite the little bit of awesome as i have already said its cheap but what you get isnt, chimei has brought out polyview and cmv and i think another company also, and there panels are widely used in fact they have 2 main panels out at the moment that are smoken and found in nearly all of the same sized brands, even the 22" Dell i have on order uses one of there panels, so you knwo you get quality when you use this monitor,

and thats exactly what you get, i found almost nothing wrong with this monitor and if i did find any thing it was only small and easily looked over,

here are the pros and cons:

Pro - Cheap
Pro - Widesreen on a budget
Con - On an all Black Screen you can see some light bleed,
Con - the little green power LED is so bright it puts the cold cathodes in my case to shame,
Pro - was a huge shipment sent to Australia so there are plenty of spare parts out there,
Con - they are now quite hard to find in fact i have been told by some suppliers that they cant get any in for quite some time

but with the pros and cons lined up you still don't see the way i love this monitor, and im sure many other will also i will include below a link to the product page so you can have a see for your self,

i might even put up some pictures of mine.

Thanks for Reading, Hope to see some Comments,
Peter
